On November 13, 14, and 15, 2024, EDUCATECH returns for its 28th edition at Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 7, to shape the educational technology of tomorrow!
Families, local authorities, services, and education professionals will engage and meet over three days to create accessible and secure digital education through 80 conferences, 25 interactive workshops within the “Pedagogical Innovation Hub,” and various debates.
More than 15,500 visitors and 320 exhibitors are expected to come together to develop practical solutions, discover tools, and enhance their skills!
Taking advantage of the “special” nature of the 2024 school year, the theme “RECONNECTING” will be the focus of an exceptional large-scale debate and four round tables. To foster a co-education dynamic, EDUCATECH EXPO will be centered around four major themes over the course of these three days:
- Artificial Intelligence: How can we prepare teachers, students, and pupils for its various uses and risks?
- Cyberattacks in Education: Developing digital skills to better protect the education system, a prime target. How can we maintain trust between services, parents, and youth while ensuring national sovereignty?
- Choosing Digital Equipment in Schools and Universities: Balancing skepticism, budgetary choices, and obligations—how can local authorities make decisions with an awareness of the environmental impact of digital technology?
- Emotional Skills in the Face of Social Media: What tools can help guide hyper-connected youth, addressing data security, online reputation, and cyberbullying? Are social networks suitable for school settings? Working with students on developing critical thinking is a key educational challenge, especially as the government seeks to introduce a “digital break” in middle and primary schools.
Workshops, demonstrations, major debates, and plenaries are on the agenda for this new edition, offering hands-on approaches to creating enriching and responsible digital conditions.
