Ynov, a leader in cybersecurity education in France, is equipping its 13 campuses with CyberWaRooms. This project aims to enhance the learning experience and is supported by OPCO Atlas as part of its call for projects to « Invest in the quality of educational programs to ensure the success of apprentices: develop equipment, improve teaching methods, and strengthen support. »
These specialized spaces offer Ynov students full immersion in environments simulating cyberattacks, preparing them as effectively as possible for the challenges faced in the field of IT security.
Excellence in Cybersecurity Education
With over 700 students trained in cybersecurity each year and partnerships with major players such as Hack The Box, Airbus (with the creation of the first Aerospace and Defense Cybersecurity Master’s at the Airbus Cybersecurity School), Cheops Technology, Seela, Neverhack, CGI, Advens, La Banque Postale, Visiativ, and Riskintel, Ynov has established itself as a reference in cybersecurity education in France.
Our programs, certified by Seela X Stormshield and labeled SecNumEdu by the National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI), ensure the quality of the courses and their alignment with industry standards.
The CyberWaRooms: Full Immersion in the Face of Cyberattacks
The CyberWaRooms are specialized spaces within our campuses designed to immerse students in real-world cyber crisis management situations. These rooms, equipped with advanced monitoring tools, allow our students to experience different attack and defense scenarios against cyber threats. These scenarios can be based on real past attacks or fictional ones, enabling the creation of tailored situations to meet varied learning objectives. Grouped into teams, students learn to analyze and respond to attacks in real time, just as they might encounter in professional environments.
This practical and immersive approach addresses the rapidly evolving digital threats, which are becoming increasingly complex and persistent, demanding deep expertise and new defense methods to counter them effectively.
Competitions to Sharpen Students’ Skills
As part of our cybersecurity training, Ynov regularly organizes Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, where students test their knowledge and skills against simulated attacks. These CTFs can be inter-campus, bringing together the 13 Ynov campuses, or in collaboration with partners such as Hack The Box, Riskintel (Purple Pill Challenge), or during national cyber events like the European Cyber Cup. These challenges foster teamwork and enhance students’ ability to tackle complex security challenges in a competitive environment.
