The European Commission has announced the launch of the Erasmus+ Projects 2024, the flagship program of the European Union dedicated to supporting European exchanges in education, training, youth, and sports.

With a budget of 4.3 billion euros at the European level for the next year, Erasmus+ continues to strengthen its commitment to inclusion, civic engagement, as well as green and digital transitions. Schools, universities, and vocational training organizations are invited to submit their Erasmus+ project proposals to benefit from funding.

Since 1987, the Erasmus+ program (formerly Erasmus) has benefited more than 14 million European citizens. It remains a fundamental pillar of support for transnational and intercultural experiences for schoolchildren, youth in training, as well as adult learners and teaching staff.

As part of the Erasmus+ Projects 2024 call, any public or private organization involved in education or training can apply for funding from the Erasmus+ France / Education Formation Agency. Schools, universities, and vocational training organizations are encouraged to apply by proposing mobility projects for their students, apprentices, students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel, as well as partnership projects aimed at strengthening pedagogical innovation, improving education in Europe, and developing skills required for future professions.

According to Nelly Fesseau, Director of the Erasmus+ France / Education Formation Agency: « In 2024, Erasmus+ funding should help develop opportunities for everyone, especially in ‘remote’ sectors and vocational training. I invite our schools, colleges, high schools, Vocational Training Centers (CFA), Rural Family Homes (MFR), local missions, universities, or higher education institutions to join us: propose innovative and enriching projects for your students and teachers through European exchanges. »

Note: Selected projects may benefit from funding or co-funding that can be combined with other programs and financial assistance. Erasmus+ mobility scholarships will be increased by up to 5.9% in 2024, following a previous increase in 2023, to account for inflation. Travel expenses will also be revised upwards, especially to support the choice of eco-responsible transportation.

Complete details on project submission are available on the Erasmus+ France / Education Formation Agency website. Applications can be submitted from now until February 20 for mobility projects and until March 5 for partnership projects.
