Developing My Use of AI in the Classroom

LUDOVIALES 🚀 Developing tips to save time when preparing lessons, creating engaging exercises for assessments or homework, teaching students to use AI sparingly, designing attractive visuals for lessons, and leveraging AI to offer original history and geography classes. These are the skills that participating teachers will help you develop during the workshops of the second international edition of the Ludoviales, taking place online on April 2. Registration is already open, and workshop proposals can also be submitted starting today.

Artificial intelligence, especially generative AI, has been a hot topic for some time now, impacting schools, universities, and the education sector as a whole. Some teachers didn’t wait for this new world to invade the classroom; they have already experimented with it: awareness sessions, creative diversions, at-home usage, critical testing, etc. Today, the question is no longer whether to use AI in teaching, but how to use it effectively and with what limitations.

In 2024 (April 10), Ludoviales #S2#E1 aimed to facilitate discussions on the broadest possible range of classroom experiences, analyses conducted, and available opportunities. This was achieved through practical exchange workshops, presentations, and tool demonstrations, featuring contributions from about ten teachers over a single day—bringing together more than 230 teachers from around the world.

In 2025, for this second edition on the topic, we are looking for “practitioners” who can explain step-by-step how they use AI, which generative AI tools they utilize, for which parts of their lessons, for lesson preparation, grading, homework, assessments, what documents they generate, and in which subject areas. They will also demonstrate their practices online to fellow teachers so that their peers can apply the same methods in their daily teaching.

A new feature this year is that workshop proposals can be submitted in three languages and across all subjects! We invite English-speaking and Spanish-speaking colleagues to join the rich exchange of experiences on AI in the classroom!
