We were at Le Cube at EIC in Tourcoing on Thursday, March 20, 2025, to explore their education and pedagogical innovation forum, the 3rd edition, which was full of conferences, roundtables, and experiential workshops to better understand and assist you in your daily pedagogy.
Ludomag was present to broadcast several mini-conferences live on YouTube and as podcasts, covering a variety of topics with outstanding speakers.
Today, we will explore the concept of the « Cogni’class » with Jeanne Desaulty from EdTech Hauts-de-France, Julie Tallarico, and Céline Grdemyan, both teachers at EIC. The goal of this topic was to explain the concept of the Cogni’class, how to implement cognitive science in the classroom, student motivation and engagement, and finally, the long-term impacts of cognitive sciences.
Céline implemented the Cogni’class project with her high school students to help them learn better and achieve more effective results in the long run. In her history-geography subject, her students gained 2 points on their average!
« In the Sciconum project, several actions are being carried out to develop cognitive sciences to improve learning, including an online training course, » explains Jeanne.
« In the Cogni’class project, we implement several activities to help students retain information in the long term: memorization sheets, flashcards, procedural bookmarks, class puzzles, and more, » describes Julie Tallarico.
