Cned and the Société nationale des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (SnMOF) have signed a three-year partnership agreement to develop joint initiatives in the field of training. This partnership aims to enhance access to high-quality professional training by leveraging the expertise of recognized professionals.
The first concrete outcome of this collaboration is the launch of a remote preparation course for the CAP Cuisine, offered by Cned, with the participation of Christophe Quantin, chef, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1994, and vice-president of the MOF Cuisine competition. Renowned for his expertise and dedication to passing on knowledge, he also coached the French team that won the Bocuse d’Or in January 2025.
Through this partnership, Cned and the Société nationale des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France are combining their expertise to make high-quality training accessible to all. With the guidance of Christophe Quantin and the innovative educational tools we have developed, we offer future culinary professionals the best conditions to learn, progress, and reach a high level of mastery, wherever they are.
Olivier Guiard, Acting Director General of Cned
As part of this training, Cned has produced 26 instructional videos showcasing essential professional techniques and skills. Christophe Quantin meticulously explains the key steps of iconic recipes, including vegetable broth, Viennese-style chicken escalope, sole fillets Dugléré, and cream puffs.
These resources are designed to allow learners to practice at home without requiring a professional kitchen or equipment, while benefiting from a structured and progressive learning approach. The distance learning program is complemented by a 14-week (490-hour) internship in a professional setting, offering candidates the opportunity to refine their skills in real-world conditions.
By promoting the transmission of expertise, this partnership between Cned and SnMOF contributes to the recognition of French gastronomic excellence and the professionalization of future industry talents.
This partnership with Cned marks a significant step forward for our association and for all those aspiring to a career of excellence in the culinary field. By bringing together our expertise, the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France have the opportunity to create training programs that not only impart top-level technical skills but also foster creativity and innovation. Our goal is to democratize access to high-quality education, enabling every passionate individual to develop their potential, regardless of their location. Together, we are shaping the future of French cuisine.
