A toolbox for getting started in neuropsychology and understanding how brain sciences can enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
Teachers, parents, educators, psychologists, in this book, you will find the major milestones and landmarks in the history of child education and psychology. You will also discover the synthesis of the most current findings from cognitive and brain sciences on learning: reading, writing, counting, thinking (or reasoning), and respecting others.
It is, therefore, a true toolbox, unique in its kind, which will allow you to familiarize yourself with neuropsychology or neuroeducation: historical portraits (Montessori, Freinet, and Piaget), diagrams, explanatory inserts, brain images, examples of experiments, practical tips (from lab to classroom), and 245 bibliographic references in French and English to delve deeper.
In this updated and expanded version of a reference work, there are three interviews with the author. They bring the charm of dialogue that pushes the author to delve into his thoughts, moments when essential ideas and formulas emerge.
