« Artificial Intelligence for and by Teachers: An Open Textbook » was published in October 2022. It was well received by teachers in France, Italy, Luxembourg, Ireland and Slovenia – the partners of the AI4T project – and beyond. We have been contacted to ensure its translation into four more languages in addition to the original five.

The launch of ChatGPT in November 2022 did not render the work obsolete, but made it even more important to address the issue. The question of generative AIs: should they be used in the classroom? How should they be stimulated? What are the risks and challenges? And what activities can be envisaged?

The second edition of the textbook will be published this Thursday, 18 January. It will be officially launched during the Empowering Teachers in the Age of AI symposium in Luxembourg. This symposium marks the end of the AI4T project.

It’s worth mentioning that the AI4T project also launched a MOOC and experimented with these resources with teachers.

To access the textbook (in French, English, German, Italian and Slovenian), go to: www.ai4t.eu/textbook
