Texas Instruments was present at the Educ@tech Expo, faithful to this essential event every year. Their presence was particularly significant this year with the introduction of the new platform MaClasseTI.fr, designed to facilitate the lives of mathematics teachers in light of the high school math reform.
« After the math reform, we observed new needs from high school mathematics teachers, and therefore, in partnership with the startup Vittascience, we developed the MaClasseTI.fr platform. » explains Alexandre Titin-Snaider, Director of International Markets at Texas Instruments.
Léo Briand, Co-founder and President of Vittascience, is also pleased with this collaboration, « which started from the shared vision of inspiring scientific vocations among young people and making teachers’ lives easier » he adds.
Both Texas Instruments and Vittascience are members of AFINEF, which facilitated their collaboration. « It is in AFINEF’s DNA to bring industry stakeholders together, allowing these companies to find opportunities in a complex ecosystem, » emphasizes Sylvanie Duval, Secretary-General of AFINEF.
The MaClasseTI.fr platform is designed for all sciences—physical sciences, life sciences, and mathematics—and aims to facilitate teaching through calculators and the entire ecosystem surrounding them.
MaClasseTI.fr: A Secure Environment Respecting Privacy
MaClasseTI fully complies with data security obligations, and the platform has integrated into the National Education Access Resources Manager (GAR) in an atmosphere of trust.

« The fact that MaClasseTI.fr is integrated into GAR ensures security and protection of personal data, for both teachers, staff, and students. » highlights Ludovic Diana, Deputy Director of Academic Digital Technology in the PACA region.
The advantage is that GAR membership opens up other possibilities, such as integration with a Digital Learning Environment (ENT) or a media center, « thus filtering data in a reassuring and secure manner » he adds.
Referenced in the LYCÉES’UP program in the Île-de-France region
In this secure context, the platform has also been referenced in the LYCÉES’UP program in the Île-de-France region, allowing it to attract a diverse user base, as mentioned by Alexandre Titin-Snaider.
After initiating a comprehensive plan to equip students and teachers with laptops, the region sought to enhance resources to give the best possible chances to high school students. This led to the Lycées’UP resources project, as explained by Alexandra Mounier, Director of Resource and Digital Manual Projects, in the accompanying video.
The region invited EdTech companies to submit proposals and also gathered feedback from teachers to understand their needs and usage patterns. Each resource underwent pedagogical scrutiny to ensure it met teachers’ expectations, leading to the selection of MaClasseTI.fr.
The goal of the MaClasseTI.fr platform is not to turn every high school student into a computer developer. « My vision is that young people should have a minimal culture to understand the objects around us, technology; that they have a key to understanding to navigate the current world, » adds Léo Briand.
For Alexandre Titin-Snaider, the long-term vision is that young people should develop a « mathematical foundation. » « For us, as a technology company, it’s important that students acquire skills and knowledge in mathematics, not just to recruit engineers, » he concludes.
