EvidenceB has made a spectacular entry into the United States. The French gem has been designated as one of the 5 winners of the Tools Competition 2022-2023 in the Learning Science Research category, one of the most prestigious Edtech competitions globally.
In this context, the mathematics remediation solution, Adaptiv’Math, has been selected by the New York School District (the largest school district in the United States) to ensure better math learning and address the gaps of the most struggling students.
Among the 1,000 candidates from 73 countries, EvidenceB is the first French Edtech winner of the Tools Competition, across all editions. The reasons for this unprecedented success lie in its innovative solution, Adaptiv’Math, which has demonstrated its relevance through math learning modules designed in collaboration with cognitive science research laboratories and an AI engine incorporating 7 algorithms, ensuring a level of personalization not found in competing adaptive learning solutions.
Tools Competition recognized in EvidenceB a rigorous connection to research, groundbreaking innovation in the use of artificial intelligence, including language models, and the ability to provide an impact dashboard, producing indicators to measure efforts against student dropout.
Thanks to its AI-adjusted profiling system, Adaptiv’Math offers 100% personalized exercises tailored to how each student grasps concepts such as numbers or proportions, for example.
In addition to the prestige brought by this new distinction, EvidenceB will receive $250,000. This funding will enable the startup to conduct a new impact study (Randomized Control Test – RCT) across multiple sites (New York School District, Smart Schools Network in England, cycle 2 schools in France, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of Adaptiv’Math, especially on struggling students. Measuring the impact through this impact dashboard will improve student outcomes and foster research partnerships.
On this occasion, Evidence B has been selected by the New York School District for the deployment of its mathematics remediation solution, Adaptiv’Math, with a dual objective: helping the most struggling students catch up in mathematics and reducing the persistent inequalities in education.
Less than a year after winning the largest tender from the Ministry of National Education and Youth on fundamental knowledge for second-grade classes (French and Mathematics for 800,000 students), EvidenceB continues its ascent internationally by establishing itself in the largest school district in the United States.
