\ud83c\udf99\ufe0fInterview with Christelle Prince<\/strong>, who works in the User Support and Experience Office at the Digital Directorate for Education. We had the pleasure of speaking with her during the Educatech Expo<\/strong>, held at Paris Porte de Versailles from November 13 to 15.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Following a report from the General Inspectorate, it was recommended that students, before reaching 8th grade, should already be working on programming and coding to enhance their mathematical skills,\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> she explains, introducing the initiative behind the distribution of robotics kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to this recommendation, the DNE (Direction du Num\u00e9rique pour l\u2019\u00c9ducation)<\/strong> teams decided to develop this Robotics Kit<\/strong>, funded by the SGPI (Secr\u00e9tariat G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Pour l\u2019Investissement)<\/strong>, and distribute it to all interested school districts, except those in TNE (Territories of Digital Education).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Robotics Kit<\/strong> includes several robots, at different levels, along with games that help students learn programming and coding from CM1 to CM2. Sent to trainers (ERUN, CPD, and digital education advisors<\/strong>), this initiative supports teacher training and pedagogical guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers are not left without support! A Magist\u00e8re community<\/strong> dedicated to the Robotics Kit has been created, offering resources, practical tools, discussion forums, training sessions, and regular updates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Through this community, we communicate directly with educators, and they can also share their experiences and questions with us,\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> she highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each user feedback<\/strong> will be showcased on the Prim\u00e0bord platform<\/strong>, \u00ab\u00a0to make this initiative a collaborative and practice-sharing experience,\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to encourage sharing and dialogue<\/strong> between different academies and regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All kits were shipped at the end of the 2024 school year<\/strong>, and the experiments started in September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0There is no strict procedure in place, but the idea is to collect user feedback so that we can highlight and promote each experience,\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> she concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
