\ud83d\ude80 LUDOVIALES<\/strong> \u2013 The rise of generative AI is transforming assessment practices in education, raising concerns while also opening up new opportunities. Given how easily students can use these tools to generate responses, how can we adapt our assessments to ensure the validity of learning? How can we balance pedagogical rigor with the integration of new technologies without adopting an approach that is either purely repressive or overly permissive?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This workshop, led by Micka\u00ebl Bertrand, a teacher at Lyc\u00e9e International Charles de Gaulle in Dijon, explores the necessary transformations in assessment methods to address the pedagogical, ethical, and methodological challenges posed by AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generative AI offers several avenues for rethinking assessment to support learning. It enables diversification of assessment formats by leveraging Bloom\u2019s taxonomy to prioritize tasks with high cognitive value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also facilitates the creation of detailed success criteria rubrics, making expectations clearer for students and encouraging self-assessment. Finally, while its use for grading remains a topic of debate, AI can assist teachers by generating detailed feedback and reducing grading workload, ensuring a focus on student progress rather than just numerical scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
