The Charter for Education in Digital Culture and Citizenship was launched in a particular context following the Grenelle de l\u2019\u00c9ducation and the \u00c9tats G\u00e9n\u00e9raux du Num\u00e9rique. This topic also resonates at the Council of Europe level, \u00ab\u00a0to establish common principles and values for education and culture in digital citizenship,\u00a0\u00bb notes Christelle Prince.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, 2025 will be a year focused on digital citizenship education for the Council of Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0The charter was introduced about two years ago, but it lacked guidance, resources, and, most importantly, detailed explanation,\u00a0\u00bb she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make the charter understandable and accessible to all, it was necessary to go beyond the 14 articles it comprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
