Today, he presents the digital thematic groups, called GTnum, which produce knowledge in open access on the digital transformation of education.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you have questions on any topic related to this transformation? In the rest of the article, we provide all the useful links \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When Research Collaborates with the National Education within the Academies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Elie Allouche manages partnerships with research, but not in a centralized manner; his role is primarily to support academies in conducting actions with research, \u00ab\u00a0<em>enabling academic territories to develop partnerships with research; supporting innovation and digital transformation in education and training, while producing knowledge<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb he emphasizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latter action is the most important for analyzing what research says in education; how it helps us understand what is happening, providing keys to understanding and levers for action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This knowledge production involves not only researchers but also practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Producing knowledge is both the work of scientific research proper and the perspective of practitioners on these transformations<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This work is federated through the Digital Thematic Groups or \u00ab\u00a0GTnum,\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0which are participatory research groups that involve both researchers and education practitioners.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The role of the DNE is to support these GTnum by financing each of them with \u20ac75,000 over three years.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>This allows laboratories to fund doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and research engineers, for example.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb he points out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evolution of these working groups \u00ab\u00a0<em>requires us to monitor emerging themes every year<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the themes that have already been addressed over the past seven years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Themes 2017-2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Digital immersion and virtuality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth uses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning traces\/Learning analytics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appropriation by teachers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blockchain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Themes 2020-2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Artificial intelligence and education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital humanities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hybridization of teaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital and disparities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Themes 2021-2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Data literacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning through play<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluating a digital device in education within the framework of an inclusive school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Themes 2022-2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational digital territories (TNE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital sobriety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>21st-century skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training, certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, a call for projects, nicknamed \u00ab\u00a0call for expressions of interest,\u00a0\u00bb is launched in which about ten themes are proposed. From there, the universities supervising the laboratories contact the academic territories before sending their file to the selection committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0T<em>he selection committee includes both the DNE, the DGESCO, the Inspectorate General, the Scientific Council of National Education, and sometimes experts who are mobilized for certain files<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb he describes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>At the end of this selection process, 4 Digital Thematic Groups are chosen for a period of three years.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Participatory Research and Open Science: Two Essential Components for GTnum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the three years, GTnum produces knowledge that is available, open, and free on the research notebook \u00ab\u00a0Education, Digital, and Research,\u00a0\u00bb hosted <a href=\"https:\/\/edunumrech.hypotheses.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">on the open science platform Hypoth\u00e8ses<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond \u00ab\u00a0milestones\u00a0\u00bb GTnum also produces webinars, training materials, which are particularly useful in academic or national training plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Our two main methodological axes are participatory research and open science. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Participatory research means it is conducted openly between researchers and education stakeholders (teachers, trainers, inspectors, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open science is a crucial point in the specifications, meaning that all productions and publications from these groups must be openly accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>This point is important because we know very well that one of the main obstacles to the dissemination of scientific work, especially to teachers, is access<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb emphasizes Elie Allouche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the three years, GTnum publishes their \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/edunumrech.hypotheses.org\/tag\/portfolio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">portfolio<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0<em>which brings together all of their publications and ideally the research data associated with them, via the DMP &#8211; Data Management Plan, which allows for supporting documentation of the data they relied on to publish their work<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The editorial processing of portfolios is ensured by R\u00e9seau Canop\u00e9. They are therefore available <a href=\"https:\/\/eduscol.education.fr\/2174\/enseigner-et-apprendre-avec-la-recherche-les-groupes-thematiques-numeriques-gtnum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">on the eduscol website<\/a>, but also <a href=\"https:\/\/tube.reseau-canope.fr\/w\/4pKry4xa2D9PCycJhdSxWE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">on the agency&rsquo;s website for Reseau Canope&rsquo;s usages<\/a> and finally on academy websites; portfolios may also be distributed on other operators&rsquo; sites such as the French Institute of Education and of course on laboratory sites that will promote their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We multiply dissemination channels so that this work can have the widest possible impact. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the most recent wave of GTnum is arriving, and it addresses three themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Generative Artificial Intelligence will be addressed by two groups, \u00ab\u00a0because we also find it interesting to see how the same theme will be addressed by different laboratories to have a plurality of viewpoints.\u00a0\u00bb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media and Information Literacy linked to digital citizenship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital commons, which are the production of open and shared resources by practitioner communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We are both financial and methodological support for GTnum, also to facilitate networking. There are also moments of \u00ab\u00a0real\u00a0\u00bb meetings, for example, during the IN FINE symposium or the Educatech Expo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>But the organic link is indeed the link between laboratories and academies<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb he adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elie Allouche invites us to consult the portfolios and publications, which are at different levels of reading: in-depth reading, shorter reading with the monitoring bulletins produced by Reseau Canope, which also include visuals and infographics to facilitate synthesis, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, he acknowledges that it is not always easy to get researchers and education practitioners to work together; they need to find a common object.
