{"id":2781,"date":"2024-01-24T11:19:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-24T10:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ludomag.com\/en\/?p=2781"},"modified":"2024-02-29T16:27:03","modified_gmt":"2024-02-29T15:27:03","slug":"with-cned-innovation-serves-learners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ludomag.com\/en\/2024\/01\/24\/with-cned-innovation-serves-learners\/","title":{"rendered":"With CNED, innovation serves learners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">At the Educ@tech Expo in November, we met Jean-No\u00ebl Tronc, the CEO of CNED, who highlighted the institution&rsquo;s challenges and its innovation strategy in educational technology.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized that CNED is part of the French National Education system, responsible for distance learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Indeed, with 78,000 students today, CNED is by far the largest virtual school in France.<\/p>\n<cite>Jean-No\u00ebl Tronc, CEO of CNED<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CNED: The largest digital operator in France<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It&rsquo;s crucial not to overlook CNED&rsquo;s role in higher education, with nearly 20,000 students, not to mention the 47,000 adults undergoing professional retraining through CNED&rsquo;s programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a state operator, CNED can rightfully claim to be \u00ab\u00a0the largest digital operator in France,\u00a0\u00bb as Jean-No\u00ebl Tronc mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>There&rsquo;s no global equivalent of a distance learning operator offering asynchronous pedagogy across these three domains: primary, secondary, higher education, and continuous professional training<\/em>,\u00a0\u00bb he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CNED&rsquo;s current dynamics align perfectly with those of the National Education system: \u00ab\u00a0not using technology for the sake of it.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Cned leverages technology for the benefit of students, teachers, and parents; it&rsquo;s about continuous pedagogical innovation,\u00a0\u00bb he emphasized.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Over the next four years, as part of its performance contract finalized with its two overseeing ministers, Gabriel Attal and Sylvie Retailleau, CNED will have to support the entire French Edtech ecosystem.
