The platform was launched by Texas Instruments last spring and has since been widely adopted. MaClasseTI.fr is a platform designed for teachers and students to enhance their mathematics and science classes with digital tools. The video showcases the experiences of teachers and students who have used the platform to make their in-class and at-home work easier.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

MaClasseTI.fr is a digital environment introduced by Texas Instruments in March 2023. It supports students and teachers in areas such as programming, algorithms, mathematical concepts, and physical science-related topics. This includes programming sensors, microcontrollers, or robots<\/em>. <\/p>\nMourad Afekhssi, pedagogical delegate from Texas Instruments<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

MaClasseTI.fr<\/a> is a platform that offers four modules. These include an online calculator, a Python editor that facilitates the transition from block programming in middle school to Python programming, video tutorials for students to independently grasp mathematical concepts and use their graphic and numerical calculators, and finally, a Class Space developed in collaboration with the French startup Vittascience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Class Space enables teachers to assign activities to students and track their progress. <\/em><\/p>\nAlexandre Titin-Snaider, Director of International Markets at Texas Instruments<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Boris Hanu\u0161, a high school maths teacher and T3 reference for Texas Instruments, believes that providing a computer to each high school student in the \u00cele-de-France Region<\/a> is a significant pedagogical advantage for teachers. However, it is essential to ensure that the necessary resources are installed for teachers to use these computers with their students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boris Hanu\u0161 found the class management tool he was missing with MaClasseTI. MaClasseTI is available through MonLyc\u00e9e.net and is provided by the \u00cele-de-France Region to all teachers and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0As a maths teacher, I am particularly interested in having class management tools to easily assign exercises to each student, receive their work and, most importantly, assess their progress<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating and sharing resources for the same purpose: ease of use for students and teachers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, what Boris Hanu\u0161 appreciates is the ability to create his own activities, share them with other maths teachers and access content created by other educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the students, they can complete these activities on their computers or mobile phones using the virtual calculator, which supports them in their learning journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Differentiate pedagogy; personalise corrections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0This classroom management tool interests me because I can see the results of my students’ work in real time. The classroom management tool enables differentiated learning because it gives me a very clear view of the progress of each of my students.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb adds Boris Hanu\u0161.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also uses the tool to show his students how to correct an exercise. \u00ab\u00a0In class, we can project a student’s work and follow what they’ve done, screen by screen, key by key on the calculator; it’s very rewarding for the student<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He adds: \u00ab\u00a0At the same time, this presentation attracts the attention of others; it adds a bit of excitement and focus to the class. I find that this competition motivates them and allows them to show that ‘I too have done my work well<\/em>‘.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0As a teacher, I can be sure that the activities on MaClasseTI.fr are of high quality and that my students will be able to successfully complete the exercises proposed, particularly by using the video tutorials available on the platform<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb he concludes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Texas Instruments, as expressed by its representative Alexandre Titin-Snaider, the challenge of creating this platform is indeed to make life easier for maths and science teachers (\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
